Happy Sunday Friends! There are only a few more days until Christmas! I’ve got my tree up, a few presents wrapped, and tons of to do lists that I need to get done ASAP. I was pretty happy with that. Usually this time of year it’s hard to fit those things in. But, if it’s important you’ll make it happen. Hi Friends! Welcome to this week’s recap! I had a really busy week of work, but I also had a solid week of workouts and runs. And, the weekend brought some cooler temperatures so it was actually tolerable to be outside! A busy week called for a relaxing weekend and that’s just what we did. I included my weekend recap in this one since we relaxed all weekend. Let’s go back to Monday. more “A Solid Week of Workouts”
I put together a list of a few of my favorite workouts. I love running, but I also like to change it up a bit and add in something different.
- Squat workout – I had a friend challenge me to the 30 day squat challenge a couple of years ago. I loved it so much, that I continued to do it periodically. I can tell a huge difference in the definition of muscles in my thighs when I do it. For the days when there are a lot of squats, I will break it up into sessions so I can get them in all in. I will also shake things up a bit and sometimes use dumbbells when I squat, or do different forms of squats. This is definitely a workout that works! I found this workout on shrinkingjeans.net They have a ton of good challenges!
- Tracy Anderson arms – This workout is hard!! But, I think that means that it works. It requires no weights, and it is 8 minutes of just moving your arms. That may not sound hard, but it gets so tiring when you can’t put your arms down. I may hate it when I do it, but I always am proud when I finish it.
- Blogilates – I started Blogilates since I haven’t been able to run. And so far, I love it. It’s something different, and it’s a challenge. I like that after the workouts, I really feel like I did something. I also love the community of Popstars that I have found and how supportive of each other they are. The picture is just one of the many challenges that Casey Ho has. I subscribed to the calendar on the app so I get all of the monthly workout videos. It’s just 99 cents a month!
