Goodbye Exuma

Hi!  This is the last recap in my Exuma, Bahamas vacation series.  We have to say goodbye to Exuma today. 🙁  I hope you’ve enjoyed this series and maybe have added this place to your bucket list!  It was definitely on mine and I’m so happy that I got to cross it off.  But, I think it ruined everywhere else for me.  It is going to be so hard to top this one, because of how beautiful it is.  But we’ll keep trying!  Wanderlust…right?  more “Goodbye Exuma”

Our Own Hidden Gem

Hi Everyone!  I’m glad you’re back to read about our next adventure in the Bahamas!   Today was a fun day and I’m so glad we got to experience it.  I’m also glad we met such a fun couple to share it with!  We had a blast!  Today we took another trip off the resort to explore the island of Exuma.  It was so much fun to see.   more “Our Own Hidden Gem”

Back To Reality

Hey Everyone! This week was back to reality for me.  It was kind of bittersweet.  I was really sad that vacation was over, but I was also ready to get back to my normal routine.  I didn’t workout or really worry about what I ate on vacation at all.  I’ll post about why soon.  I just made sure to enjoy myself and my uninterrupted time with my husband.  Real life can get so busy, so it was nice to unplug and be away from all distractions.  more “Back To Reality”

Fun in the Sun

Hi Guys!  Today I’m continuing my Bahamas recap with days 4 and 5 of our vacation.  These two days were pretty low-key…the best kind of vacation days!  We spent them lounging around the pool and enjoying the beach, definitely having some fun in the sun!  We ate some exceptional food at night!  These two days were the most relaxing that we had.   more “Fun in the Sun”

Swimming with Pigs and Sharks

Hey guys!  If you’re just getting here and haven’t read about the first couple of days of our vacation, you should go back to this post.  Today I’m picking up on Day 3 of our vacation in Exuma, Bahamas.  Day 3 was a trip off the resort and it was an exceptionally fun day.  We went to snorkel a cave where several 007 movies were filmed, and swim with pigs and sharks.  We also got to see a lot of the islands surrounding Big Exuma, and had several more stops on the way to and from the cave.  I took a TON of pictures, so this post will be filled with them!  more “Swimming with Pigs and Sharks”

Vacation in the Bahamas

Hey Guys!!  This isn’t my typical weekly wrap, but I wanted you to know why I’ve been so quiet for a couple of weeks.  If you read my last post, you know part of the reason, but the other part is because we have been in the Bahamas!!!  We had such an incredible time,  and did so many fun things, and I cannot wait to share it all with you!  Since we did so much, I’m going to have to break it up into several posts so you’re not reading for hours! (You’re welcome! 🙂 ) more “Vacation in the Bahamas”

Food & Fitness This Week

Hey Guys!  I hope you all had a fun and safe Fourth of July!  I really can’t believe it’s July already.  Where has this year gone?!  It’s flying by so fast.  I didn’t get a recap done last week because of the holiday.  But, I did post about one really good dinner that we made.  You can read about that epic food here

Staying on Track

Hey Guys!  I hope you are all having a fun Memorial Day Weekend!  I had a pretty solid week of staying on track with working out.  My runs were not so great, but I tried.  The heat is definitely here to stay and I picked the absolute worst times of the day to try and run.  All I did was make myself sick, so this next week I’ll be running in the early mornings or late evenings.  Not in the middle of the afternoon!   more “Staying on Track”
