Food & Drink Favorites: Link Love

Hi Everyone!  TGIF!  How was your week?  I’m linking up today with Courtney from Eat Pray Run DC, Cynthia from You Signed Up For What?!, and Mar from Mar on the Run! for the Friday Five. For today’s edition I’m sharing some link love from my favorite food and drinks that I came across this week.  These are some awesome looking summertime recipes that I can’t wait to try!

Chocolate & Peanut Butter Krispy Squares – This recipe is from Laura at Sprint 2 the Table.  Chocolate and peanut butter.  Enough said!  These sound amazing!  I love that you can freeze them and save them for later.  I don’t know if there would be enough left to freeze, but I’m happy that’s an option!  I can’t wait to make these!

Coconut Watermelon Slushie – This is from Heather at Polyglot Jot.  This just sounds delicious and refreshing!  I can’t ever eat a whole watermelon by myself so this would be a great way to use it.  Plus, I love that this is a summertime drink!  It will definitely cool you off.

Grilled Green Goddess Wraps – This recipe is from Rebecca at Strength and Sunshine.  I love all things green so this perfect for me!  This would make the perfect lunch or light dinner.  It just looks so pretty!

Tropical Overnight Oatmeal Smoothie – This recipe is from Amanda at Running with Spoons.  This smoothie has all my favorite summertime flavors – mango, pineapple, coconut!  What could be better?  I can drink this and imagine I am at the beach!

Pineapple BBQ Chicken Skewers – This recipe comes to you from Kelsey at Little Bits Of.  I love bbq’s and summer is the best time to grill out.  My mom used to marinate chicken in pineapple juice and then grill it and the pineapple and this recipe reminds me of that.  But, these would be so fun to eat, and the bbq sauce would take it over the top!

Oooh. I’m going to have to add the bars and the wraps to my summer recipe list! I’m a big fan of grilling in the summer- particularly squash and corn.

LOL Pineapple is my favorite fruit right now! What was crazy when you posted that recipe is that my cousin and I had just talked about making watermelon smoothies. But, your recipe is so much better than what we were going to do.
