Happy Good Friday Everyone! We made it to the weekend and I hope you are getting a day off work today! I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, so I wanted to share some of my current obsessions with you and tell you why I am in love with them! Of course, most of them have to do with running because right now that’s all my life revolves around! But, I’ll throw in a few others too!
I am completely obsessed with this drink!! I have seen it online for a while now, but our Wal-mart just recently started selling them. That’s the only place in town to buy it. They only have two flavors available, but that’s okay. My favorite out of those two is the Lemon Ginger! It almost tastes like ginger ale. I love this drink because it not only tastes good, but it is good for you too. Kevita is an organic drink that is loaded with probiotics. It’s also low calorie, low sugar, low sodium, and low carb. It’s the perfect drink!! Another reason that I like it is because I do get tired of just plain old water. I haven’t been drinking any soda since last summer, so this fizzy drink is a great replacement! You should try it!
Specifically chicken in the crock pot! I have made more chicken in the past two weeks than I have in the past two months! I have cooked chicken legs in the crock pot with bar-b-que sauce twice in the last week, and Jeremy and his dad love them! All I did was lay the legs in the pot and cover them with bar-b-que. They were so juicy and tender! Plus, it made a ton, so we had lots of leftovers. I also made chicken breasts in the crock pot a couple of times. I just seasoned them and covered them with chicken stock. Then I ate them on my salads all week! This is my new favorite way to cook chicken!

I was skeptical about this tape before I used it. I didn’t really think putting tape on an ache would make the pain go away. But, I was sooooo wrong! This stuff is magic! As I have started adding more miles, my leg has started bothering me again. It’s not bad like it was, but it does get sore. This tape helps tremendously!! I have been wearing it under my compression sleeves and it is awesome! I know I don’t have it on right on my ankles, but that way helps a lot!
- Feetures Socks
These are officially the best socks I have worn for running! I really liked the Bombas socks, but the first time I wore them on a long run, I had blisters on the bottoms of 5 of my toes. Also, after wearing a pair of Bombas socks twice, they got a hole in them. My feetures have been worn and washed tons of times and are not showing any wear or tear. And, I have never had any blisters with Feetures! They are super comfortable and fit perfectly! And, they come in all kinds of fun colors!
This is the best money I have ever spent! I don’t know why it took me so long to get one of these. This little gadget does so much! I am a numbers girl, so I want to see all of my data from each run. This watch shows me time, distance, pace, heart rate, personal records, graphs for each week, and so much more. It also has live tracking, so when I am running long distances, my husband can pull up a map on his phone and see where I am. I am still learning all of its features, but so far I am I love!
