2016 Goals

2016 Goals

I am ready to start 2016 and am going to work on being a better version of me.  I want to be healthier and I am setting some goals to help me achieve that.

  1. Stay healthy and run more – This is my biggest priority.  I trained hard in 2015, but I wasn’t smart about it.   I am determined to stay healthy and not get hurt so I can run more.  It was extremely difficult to be off half of the year.  I am going to make sure I listen to my body and not try to run “through” the pain.  I’m also going to make sure that I foam roll and stretch really good after each run.
  2. Race more – I want to do more races in 2016. I want to add to my medal collection!  It looks a little sad right now.  I am training for a full marathon in April, but I am also looking at a half marathon in March. 2016 Goals
  3. No more sugar – Okay, not literally. But, I do want to cut back on sugar.  I eat way too much of it.  I have a huge sweet tooth, so I am going to work on that.
  4. Try to sleep more – I am going to really try to get more sleep. I usually go to bed between 11 and midnight and I get up around 5:30-5:45.  I am tired a lot, so I’m going to work on getting in bed earlier.

My main goal for 2016 is to be healthier.  I’m going to work on this everyday by making healthy choices.  I’m going to be the best ME in 2016!

Happy New Year!

Totally agree on the sugar thing! It’s so hard! Especially when there’s added sugar in to the most random things like bread! it makes me so mad! Why does it have to be so delicious!? haha
