Pile on the Miles Week One Report


I did really well this week! I accomplished my daily goal every day except Saturday! My goal was to walk or run for at least 30 minutes each day.  Here’s a recap of what I did this week. 

Sunday – I set my timer for 30 minutes, and I walked.  I quit as soon as it went off!  I was tired and sore from the weekend, so I really didn’t want to walk, but I didn’t want to miss the first day of the challenge.  So, I did it! 

Monday – I walked Jake for about 45 minutes.  Then, we walked and picked up pecans. 

Tuesday – I ran three miles and then walked for an hour. 

Wednesday – I had planned on running another three miles, but my leg was really bothering me, so I just took Jake for a walk.  Jeremy went with us, and we walked for about 45 minutes. 
Thursday – it rained all day, so I literally walked up and down the halls at work for 30 minutes during my break. 

Friday – I walked with Jake for over an hour. 

Saturday – I was having really bad pain in my leg and foot, so I took a rest day. 

 

I started off the second week of the Pile on the Miles challenge with an hour walk today!  
This week I hope to run more than I walk.  But, that will depend on how my leg holds up. I will keep you posted on my leg and my progress during the pile on the miles challenge.
